Meet Jill

An LA-based actress with decades of experience (911 Lone StarAmerican Crime Story: Impeachment, & American Horror Story), Jill is a member of LA's acclaimed classical theatre ensemble, The Antaeus Company, and a graduate of the UCB improv program. Jill also earned a BA in English & Communication from the University of Pennsylvania. In her home studio, Jill has recorded various audiobook genres, from Thrillers to Clean Romance to Nonfiction Sales, and her strength lies in voicing quirky heroines.  Jill brings a youthful effervescence to YA leads and a relatable intelligence to more grounded personalities. Casting director Bonnie Gillespie calls Jill "sincerely sweet while silently judging your grammar."

Jill worked as a 9-1-1 operator and police dispatcher in Anaheim, California, so her brain is still full of law enforcement lingo and radio codes, making her agile with procedural/techy dialogue. To flesh out books with large casts, Jill is facile with both American and European accents (highlights include Philly, British RP, and Irish). She loves narrating sci-fi, middle-grade stories, YA titles, and contemporary romance, especially any involving underestimated female characters, and she also digs cozy mysteries and inspirational self-help tomes.

When not acting, you can find her daydreaming of world travel, brainstorming better endings to disappointing TV finales, and finding tasty vegetarian dishes for her tween daughter. Jill is originally from Philadelphia and enjoys a good cheesesteak (try Jim’s Steaks on South Street), good grammar and spelling, and most importantly, a good story.
